**One Saturday in April, my bf and I took a drive and ended up at the Clam Box for a little seafood. It was so delish and that had to be the best clam chowder!!

Thinking Pink

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I thought this colorful nail look fits in perfectly for the cause.

I think in my past life I was a drag queen because I cannot get enough GLITTER!!!  I think this is a fun and quick way to add a little glitz to your nails and to also help out for the cause!!!!

Etsy: New Obsession!!

I work in an office so it is very casual and tend to wear very simple jewelry. I am the type of girl that will wear jeans, boots and a simple tee and pair it with a simple pendant necklace.  I am always on a hunt to find cute, simple necklaces. I can't stand when there is a cute simple charm and it's on the most cheap and chunky chain, or when you can smell the lead, gross. I guess you get what you paid for.

I was definitely overwhelmed by Etsy at first, I had no idea what a big community it is for new and upcoming designers. So I decided to search for a gold disc necklace. At the time, I was on the hunt for it after seeing Jennifer Aniston wearing a simple gold disc in a magazine and it was so cute!! I came across Leslie23 on Etsy and absolutely love what she does. Her necklaces are classic pieces you can have for a while and definitely something you can wear every day. They're also great for layering necklaces.

It's been forever and a day since I posted a new blog! Life just gets hectic sometimes, what can ya do!!

So I have been on the hunt for new jewelry. I am a girl on a budget so I typically run to Forever 21 or H&M for cute accessories. I love love love Aldo bags and shoes and tend to forget about their jewelry!!  What I like about it is their selection, they have lots of different items, such as bohemian pieces to rock, love the eclectic-ness (Is that even a word???) :). Their jewelry is very resonable as well, ranging from $8- $30.

Four Great Sites I Love to Shop from!!

Most likely everyone has heard about these sites, but I just want to give them a big THANK YOU! I am such an avid online shopper and want to applaud them for feeding into my addiction.

1. Nonpareil Boutique

• This is an amazing site to buy makeup from! I loooooveeeee NYX cosmetics, so this is usually my go-to site. Along with NYX they have, Milani, the balm, E.L.F, Red Cherry Lashes, and other great brands! The site usually has 20% off sales every so often.
• (20% off now until December 30th!).

• Shipping comes pretty quickly and I cannot love this site anymore than I already do!!

 

2. The Beauty Sampler

• I love MAC pigments, they're gorgeous, but what a waste to spend $20 per pigment. The Beauty Sampler has tons and tons of MAC pigments for only $2.49. On the site now they are offering a selection of 128 samples, like really? That's a fantastic selection!! The tend to always have a sale for 15% off. I am always getting emails from them, such a great deal!

• Not only do they sell pigments, but the have glitter samples, solar bit samples and even mixing agent samples. The samples are 1/4 teaspoons. Great site, you need to check it out!

3. Hautelook

• There are lots of sites like Hautelook who offer discounted items, but I think this site is the best of the best. If you do not know about this site, it offers 50-75% off designer labels. I feel that their prices for certain brands are extremely good. Each Brand is offered for about 2-3 days. Not only have they sold designer brands, but they have also sold brands like NYX, Stila, and Urban Decay. They sell everything from cosmetics to fun get-a-ways. All you have to do is sign up and shop! 

 

4.Restaurant.com 

• If there is one thing I do best, it is definitely eating! My friends and I love to try out new and different restaurants. Restaurant.com is great because, they offer gift certificates to restaurants for 80% off, yes, I SAID 80!!! Now there are some restrictions, as with most things. You cannot use more than one gift certificate at a restaurant and most will not let you buy off the specials meal and you have to spend a minimum of $35 per restaurant and they put in gratuity of 18%.

• They offer different pricing gift certificateS that range from  $10- $100, but you can get a $25 gift certificate for $10 and with a coupon code (that they give) you can get it for $2! It's a great way to try a place you would not normally go to. It's also a great gift to buy for friends/family.
